Production Engineer
The post is within the Works team in a small factory environment.

Main duties include the following;
1. To assist and carry out electric/mechanical assembly of all company products.
2. To fit optional accessories and assemble ‘special’ products.
3. To clean and test products prior to despatch.
4. To package products ready for despatch or shipping.
5. To prepare items for painting and plating.
6. To use the internal database.
7. To carry out works duties such as moving or putting stock away and tidying up.
8. To re-package spares.

Essential
1. Minimum qualifications: 5 GCSEs including Maths & English, Grade C or above.
2. Competent computer skills.
3. Ability to work methodically and accurately with attention to detail
4. Ability to be co operative and supportive in a team situation
5. Ability to deal promptly, pleasantly and patiently with all enquiries and requests
6. Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly
7. Ability to work with small parts and manually handle products.

Desirable
• Previous factory assembly experience.
• Fork lift experience.
• Manual handling skills.

Salary: £12,168 - £14,196 per annum depending on experience

Hours: 39 hours / week as follows: M - Th: 8.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. Friday: 8.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. Lunch break: 1 hour flexible between 12.00 and 2.00 p.m.
